Vaado Boy
Music, in all its forms and genres, has been a huge part of my life as far back as I can reminisce. I advanced an ear and love for good music at an early age, and specifically grew a passion for House music while the genre was still evolving out of its Disco age. House music became what I love, however I had so much passion listening to soul, funky grooves and boogie sounds of the ’70s ‘80s and early ‘90s. Growing up in the dusty streets of Big House, northwest of Winterveldt (Pretoria), I was infused into almost all genres, soul, funk, disco, jazz, mbaqanga, reggae and bubble-gum. I believe music in all its forms has no boundaries hence I listen to anything which translates to great music, including jazz in all its forms and sub-genres.
Old or new jams gives me an inordinate feeling, but what delights and make me contend is sharing those rare and hard-to-find jams with kindred individuals like you, I like varying my selections and endeavour to evolve and keep the sound fresh, contemporary and equally indulge in my past musical experiences.
I am glad and so grateful to have an opportunity to share my love and knowledge of music with you here on Urban Edge, Not Just Radio.
Thank you so much for streaming and listening.
For some compelling reasons I never subscribed to this name bubble-gum, South African Popular Music sounds much better.
